Backbends Workshop (ENG)

Join us for a fun and insightful backbend workshop where we’ll dive into the mechanics of the spine and discover safe and intelligent ways to deepen your backbends. Whether you’re looking to overcome fears or enhance your practice, this workshop offers something for everyone.

What to expect:

  • Learn about the mechanics of the spine and how it relates to backbending
  • Focus on breathing techniques to support your backbends
  • Engage in a flow that includes drills to open shoulders, upper back, and promote spine fluidity
  • Understand how to protect your lower back and build the necessary strength for deeper backbends
  • Explore a variety of postures, with or without props, including flipped grip variations (Natarajasana, Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana), Ustrasana variations, Urdhva Dhanurasana variations….

This workshop is accessible to all levels, with options tailored to where you are in your practice. While some yoga experience and basic knowledge of postures are recommended to get the most out of this session, everyone is welcome to join.
