Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa Flow connects traditional Yoga asanas (postures) together in a harmonious flow of positions and transitions while emphasizing active meditation. It is a yoga that is both dynamic and gentle, and relaxation often comes at the end of the session. The sequencing of postures varies from course to course and allows the development of strength, flexibility, balance and concentration.
Yoga Foundations
This class is open to beginners and everyone else who wishes to revisit the basics!
Each session includes a warm up, some pranayama and asanas (postures) teaching you how to practice with the alignment that suits YOUR body, using props, or not!
You'll enjoy a great relaxation at the end.
Hatha Flow
The Hatha Flow is based on a balance of movement and tranquility, strength and grace, balance and anchoring. The class will begin with a warm-up followed by a series of standing postures, to strengthen and open the body from head to toe, and will end with a deep relaxation. The focus is on breathing during practice to help you connect body and mind.
Dynamic Vinyasa
This class is very dynamic and fun! You will work your body up and down while leaving room for a deep connection with breathing. You will be guided through different sequences of postures designed to stretch and strengthen the whole body, as well as the mind! You will enjoy the music, the atmosphere and the creative flows to finish with a good relaxation.
Yin
Yin Yoga gives you a moment to slow down, soothe your mind and allow your body to open gently! Each ground posture will last a few minutes, which will allow (with muscle relaxation) to stretch the different tissues of your body more deeply. Each posture allows a moment of meditation, observation that can sometimes be quite intense!
Flow & Restore
This class is a blend of dynamic and restorative postures to help you find sweet balance. The session starts with an active, breath-led flow to stretch and stregnthen the body (flow). It ends with blissful restorative asanas, held for longer to guide you into you body and to a place of deep rest (restore).
Candlelight Yin Yoga
Candlelight Yin Yoga invites you to slow down, soothe your mind and allow your body to open gently! The soft lighting increases the possibility for relaxation, softness and peace - all Yin qualities that deepen your practice. Each ground posture will last a few minutes, which will allow (with muscle relaxation) to stretch the different tissues of your body more deeply.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga allows us to access a state of presence that brings us back to bodily and emotional sensations. The postures are held for a long time and your body is supported by cushions, blankets and other objects to allow you a total relaxation. It is the prolonged immobility of the body in a comfortable posture that promotes relaxation and tissue regeneration.
Wall Barre
This class is inspired by classical barre but with a twist, and is set to an upbeat playlist. This class aims to tone, build and lengthen muscles through a series of dynamic standing sequences, using the wall to balance. You will then come down to the mat for floor-based core exercises. Resistance bands and floor sliders provided.
Vin & Yin
The first half of the course is dedicated to a dynamic and physical Vinyasa, on a rousing music, you will sweat, strengthen your arms, your legs and your abs! The second part is a quiet and soothing Yin on a quieter music where we will hold postures for 4 to 5 minutes, all on the ground focusing on relaxing and observing breathing.
Prenatal Yoga
Through this class, let's create a sense of community, support and encourage students to connect with their intuition. We will work on self-massage, writing and visualization techniques, as well as yoga and pranayama. Each class includes warm-up, breathing techniques, strengthening and stretching the body with appropriate postures and long relaxation.
Yoga Postnatal
This class is for women who have recently given birth. The class will aid in reconnecter, stretching, and strengthening their body. We'll concentrate on stregnthening from the inside out, the deep core, legs and back to help you find strength and stability. You'll also stretch your back, and shoulders and other tired and over-worked parts of your body. You'll enjoy a long relaxation at the end.
