General information

Introduction

This Yoga Alliance International training is open to yoga teachers and anyone ready to deepen their practice and understanding.

With only 4 places available, it’s one of our most loved offerings. This year, this course is part of our 200 hour Soft Yoga Training.

From day one, you’ll begin teaching—not just poses, but the essence of yoga. You’ll be guided to find your own voice, rooted in authenticity and inspiration. The training integrates the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine for a holistic approach.

Since 2024, we’ve reshaped the course into an immersive experience: one full week in Normandy, in our dedicated Retreat Space—a chance to connect deeply with yoga, with others, and with yourself.

Our teaching style is passionate, curiosity-focused, accessible and non-judgemental. We draw on our years of experience to enable you to teach the people in front of you, adapting to their needs. We hope to light the flame of inspiration, education and motivation in you, to make your own choices as teachers and students and to encourage your own students to walk their own path of practice.

A few topics covered

  • Anatomy for Yin Yoga
Explore the fundamentals of Yin and Yang tissues, fascia, and joint mobility. Learn how anatomy informs the safe, sustainable practice of long-held postures and how meridian lines interact with the physical and energetic body.

  • Asana Lab: Yin Yoga Postures
Break down essential Yin poses through hands-on practice and observation. Learn how to use props, adjust variations for different body types, and guide students into deep stillness with confidence.

  • Teaching Skills & The Art of Holding Space
Develop your voice as a teacher and learn how to create a calm, grounded space where students feel safe to explore and release. You’ll practice cueing, timing, and intuitive presence.

  • The Art of Sequencing
Understand how to build meaningful Yin Yoga sequences rooted in intention, meridian theory, and energetic balance. Learn to create classes that flow with the seasons, emotions, or specific therapeutic needs.

  • Meditation & Pranayama
Learn simple, effective breathing techniques and guided meditations to support nervous system regulation and presence in Yin practice—for yourself and your students.

  • Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Gain an understanding of the Five Elements, organ systems, and meridians. Learn how to bring this energetic lens into your teaching to add depth and intention to your classes.

  • The Theory of Yin & Yang, and Qi
Dive into the foundational Taoist concepts that inform Yin Yoga. Understand how balance, opposites, and vital energy (Qi) shape the way we move, rest, and live.

  • Savasana & Healing Touch
Discover how to close a Yin practice with presence and care. You’ll learn gentle assist techniques and grounding hands-on adjustments to deepen relaxation in Savasana.

Starting in 2024, our trainings include a week-long immersion in Normandy, at our peaceful retreat centre: The Retreat Space.

This new format invites you to slow down and go deeper—into your yoga journey, your body, your breath, and into meaningful connection with others.
You’ll have time to learn, teach, rest, explore, create, and simply be.

You’ll stay in a calm, beautiful house nestled in a quiet village just over 3 hours from Paris. Nourishing meals are prepared with love—seasonal, plant-based, and shared together around the table.
The garden, the firepit, the stars, the silence… everything is here to help you reconnect—with yourself, with others, with Nature.

We believe this setting gives space for transformation: a chance to grow your confidence, refine your voice, restore your energy, and feel part of something real and rooted.

A regular practice of Yoga and the desire to deepen your practice and understanding of Yin, and of yourself.
